Harbor & Vine
An elegant redesign for a neighbourhood florist whose home-made site was holding back online orders.
The challenge
Harbor & Vine’s owner had built the first site herself late at night, and it showed. Photos were stretched, the order form broke on phones, and same-day delivery cut-off times weren’t mentioned anywhere.
A Website Audit turned up twenty-three issues. The big three: slow pages, a confusing checkout and no reason to trust a florist you’d never heard of.
The approach
We kept everything customers loved about the shop: the hand-tied style, the seasonal stems, the personal notes. Then we rebuilt the site around ordering. Clear delivery cut-offs, an occasion-led menu and a simple three-step checkout.
On the Care Plan, I update the seasonal collections every month, so the site always matches what’s in the shop window.
What I built
- 01
Occasion menu
Birthdays, sympathy, just because: every bouquet is two taps away.
- 02
Delivery cut-off banner
Shows today’s same-day deadline live at the top of the page.
- 03
Monthly refresh
New seasonal collections added every month on the Care Plan.
- 04
Reviews up front
Real customer reviews pulled onto product pages.
The results
“I used to apologise for my website. Now I send people to it on purpose.”
